WELCOME TO
SIGMA PHI LAMBDA
"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and one mind you may follow the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

                              Romans 15:5-6
Sigma Phi Lambda (the cool kids call us Phi Lamb) is a non-Greek, all-female student organization at Texas State University. We exist to bring glory and honor to God the Father and further our walks with the Lord through a close-knit sisterhood of women experiencing these exciting times in our lives together!
This year, our theme is "Back 2 the Basics" because we are eager to  get back 2 the basics of our relationships with the Lord, cleansing our lives of anything that could detract from His Holy name. Although summer is a wonderful time to relax or get some school out of the way or make some money, we are ready to get back in gear, get to know YOU, and begin doing what we do best: praising Jesus and changing lives through prayer, laughter, and community.

About your Pledge Semester:

Ladies interested in joining Phi Lamb will spend one semester bonding with their fellow pledges and active sisters. They will attend both a pledge meeting and a meeting with the whole sorority; this is intended to create unity among the incoming girls and to create a sense of family with all the Phi Lambs. During the meetings, worship, devotionals, and times of prayer are incorporated.

"Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture."

Psalm 100:3

Phi Lamb meetings are held every Wednesday in LBJ, 8 - 9:30 p.m. Pledges have an additional meeting also located in LBJ, 6:30 p.m.
