Texas State University
Sigma Phi Lambda, or Phi Lamb, is a non-Pan-Hellenic all-women's organization at Texas State University. We exist for one purpose: to glorify God and make His name great. Founded in 1988 at The University of Texas at Austin, Phi Lamb now has over 20 chapters stretching across 7 states. Please visit www.sigma-phi-lambda.com if you are interested in starting your own chapter at your university.
About your Pledge Semester:
Ladies interested in joining Phi Lamb will spend one semester bonding with their fellow pledges and active sisters. They will attend both a pledge meeting and a meeting with the whole sorority; this is intended to create unity among the incoming girls and to create a sense of family with all the Phi Lambs. During the meetings, worship, devotionals, and times of prayer are incorporated.
"Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture."
Psalm 100:3
Phi Lamb meetings are held every Wednesday in LBJ 3rd floor, 8:00 - 10:00 p.m.
In addition to the active meeting, Pledges attend a pledge meeting Monday 7:-8:30 pm in LBJ 3-14.1
